The Effective Gospel

Everyone, regardless of culture, can think of a story that impacted his or her life. What is interesting is that the stories that resonate most deeply with us are those of redemption. This shouldn’t surprise us, since redemption from sin and death is the greatest need facing every man, woman, and child on earth, regardless of place or time. Though there are countless examples in world literature of these types of stories, only the one often called “The Greatest Story Ever Told” – the Gospel – actually has the power to save.
