The bad news is that we are all sinners and deserving of God's perfect and righteous judgment.
But there is Good News: "But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).
As recipients of God's amazing grace, we become part of His body, the Church, where we glorify God by:
Loving and serving God and people
Because loving and serving God includes loving and serving those who are made in His image, which includes communicating the truth to them in a loving manner
Cherishing His Word
Because the way we learn about who God is and what He desires for us is accomplished only through the careful study of His perfect, revealed Word
Growing through prayer
Because a vibrant, deepening prayer life - both individually and with one another - brings our desires in line with God's
Living in community with His people
Because God's perfect design is for His people to encourage and sharpen one another every day, not just on Sunday
