Judgementalism vs. Judging

Judgementalism vs. Judging

While John 3:16 may have been the most quoted Bible verse of years past, Matthew 7:1 has quickly taken its place.  This verse, ripped from its context and assigned a different meaning than what Jesus intended for it, has been used to justify every kind of practice, pronouncement, and position.  Are believers prohibited from exercising any sort of judgment?  Join us as we explore Matthew 7:1-5 to see how Jesus differentiated between judgmentalism (which He prohibited) and “right judgment” (cf. John 7:24).

From the sermon series entitled “Kingdom Ethics – The Sermon on the Mount” – Matthew 7:1-5.
