The mantra of the world today is that the strong and fittest are those who survive, and any demonstration of what is perceived as weakness will be met with destruction. Those who are aggressively assertive will be the ones who gain the world and all that it has to offer. Yet Jesus declares in the Beatitudes, “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” We invite you to join us as we explore this seeming paradox and discover that meekness is not in any way weakness. Rather, it is a gentle humbleness that is strength under control, a character trait that God approves because it is one which was manifested perfectly in the Lord Jesus Christ.
