The Men of Faith group looks to deepen the church's mission of being "People Helping People Discover and Follow Jesus" with a focus on Biblical manhood and brotherhood. We meet as a group every third Saturday of the month for breakfast from 8:00am - 10:00am. This time is used to nourish us physically and spiritually, with the first hour spent enjoying brotherly fellowship over delicious food. We spend time sharing the things that the Lord has been accomplishing in our lives, both in the blessings and the trials, following the example we find in passages like John 13:34-35 and Galatians 6:2 .
The second hour is spent on discussion topics such as Faith and Politics, Bible reading/studying tools, Prayer, being a Godly Man, Being A Dad, Core Doctrines of the Faith, and Brotherly/Christian Unity. We spend time discussing how scripture speaks into the differing areas of our lives as men of God in order to go beyond mere knowledge into spiritual maturity (Colossians 1:28).
The Men of Faith work on service projects as they arise and seek to be involved in different missions outreaches, following the example of Matthew 25:40 that calls us to be of service to our fellow man in their times of need.
The Men of Faith have participated in men's retreats at our state camp, Bambi Lake, in Roscommon, Michigan.
