Young people today are facing questions and challenges that attack the most fundamental aspects of who we are as created in the image of God. Contrary to how they are sometimes characterized, the youth of today are not avoiding a search for those answers - they are just looking for those answers from the wrong sources. Those answers are leaving them unsatisfied and unfulfilled.
We believe that it is important to listen to the questions that are being asked by our youth and provide solid, biblical truth in response. Our youth group engages in deep and challenging Biblical studies that are designed to help them grow personally in their faith, be equipped to answer the questions their peers are asking, and find ways to serve Christ now, not later in life. We also participate in various retreats throughout the year.

That doesn't mean that our youth group doesn't know how to have fun! Games, recreation, and fellowship are important for building the kinds of relationships that last long after they graduate out of the youth group. We want our youth to build the kinds of friendships with one another that last a lifetime.
We do not believe that the youth are the Church of tomorrow - if they are in Christ, they are the Church of today. Our youth are encouraged to find ministries at Faith Baptist Church where they can plug in and serve now. We also seek to provide missions opportunities both locally and via short term trips so that they can learn not only how to serve, but how to share their faith in diverse settings.
Our youth group covers grades 7-12 and meets during Sunday School on Sunday mornings and on Wednesday nights.
