Forgiveness is one of the great gifts of God's grace, but to truly appreciate how sweet that forgiveness is, we must first understand how bitter the guilt for our sin is. In Psalm 32, David - whom the Bible describes as being a man after God's own heart - understands both the awfulness of his sin against God and the joy and freedom that comes with God's forgiveness.
