Stay in Step with the Truth

In this passage from Galatians, we see how Paul’s confrontation of Peter in Antioch reveals how fear of man and people-pleasing can lead even mature believers into hypocrisy and compromise of the Gospel. The freedom and unity found in Christ alone is highlighted, reminding believers that the Gospel tears down every barrier and calls the church to live consistently with the truth it proclaims. Through Paul’s example of loving, truth-centered correction, Christians are encouraged to daily apply the Gospel, pursue Gospel-centered community, and align their conduct with their confession as they seek to stay in step with the truth of the Gospel.
