Pleasing People, or Pleasing God?
Mar 1, 2026 • Roy Henry
Have you ever known a "people-pleaser"? This is a person who is always trying to please everyone, but in the end pleases no one. The same can be true in our spiritual life: people-pleasing leads to compromised truth, weakened witness, and spiritual instability. The believer whose life is focused on pleasing God, however, is marked by a submission to Scripture, freedom from the fear of man, and a secure identity in Christ.
Join Pastor Roy Henry as we consider the difference between pleasing people, which is like grasping smoke, and pleasing God, which results in the eternal reward of Jesus Christ.
