Fighting for Gospel Freedom

Paul's concern for the Galatian churches was that they were trading the freedom they had in the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the bondage of the law, which was the other gospel being preached to them by the false teachers - the Judaizers - who had infiltrated those churches. The Apostle fought for their grace-filled freedom, not to sin but from sin, because the Gospel of grace was the only way of salvation. Boldly guarding that Gospel and preserving the truth of justification by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone was not necessary only in the early days of the Church, but in every age.
